French Toast Waffles
About this Cook
I am married with children and one dog.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Making sugar cookie cut out during the holidays. We also go apple picking every year. When we get home we make apple pie and apple sauce then deliver them to our neighbors.
My cooking triumphs
Every time I am able to cook without the fire alarm going off.
My cooking tragedies
When my apple pie over flowed and got all over the oven and the fire alarm went off. My dog was so scared that he left little presents on each of the stairs as he ran away.

Luscious Slush Punch
Fantastic! I made this for my bunko party especially for all of my pregnant friends, and spiked it for everyone else by the glass. It was a huge hit. My pregnant friends were happy to have a drink that made them feel like an adult. They also started to guard the punch bowl as it started to run out, saying "this drink is for the pregnant people only". I will warn you to take TUMS, as it is very acidic.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork
YUMMY! I served this to my close friends that HATE Rootbeer. They couldn't believe that it was made with rootbeer. You can't taste it... I used a 4 lb pork loin roast (that was on sale for BOGO) with 4 cups of rootbeer and 2-18oz bottles of Sweet Baby Ray's Hickory & Brown Sugar Barbecue Sauce. It made @ 10 large sandwiches. YUMMY! 3 weeks later, I made this recipe again with a 4-1/2 lb Boston Butt (@$7) and it also was Yummy... The only difference between the two (as far as I could taste) was the "Butt" had a little more fatty taste to it...Butt (pun intended), both turned out fantastic.

Pork Chops with Blue Cheese Gravy
This was wonderful!!!! I didn't have whipping cream or Blue Cheese, so I used light cream and Feta Cheese. It was so yummy that I ate all of my chop (I usually eat only 1/2, as I am not a pork lover), and then I was eyeing up my husband's... My husband said that he only wants pork chops done this way from now on.
