Super Short Ribs
'cest bon!! We doubled the pineapple & onions, and used "Rooster" chili PASTE (hotter/spicier!). Suggest cornstarch to thiken the juice/gravy. Served over extra wide egg noodles. This as also a wonderful recipe for PORK, CHICKEN, or CABRITO!

Indiana-Style Fried Cabbage
Delicious! We substituted RED bell pepper & 1 pkg FRESH mushrooms, then added 2 chopped jalapenos, 3 cloves minced garlic, & 2 tbls cider vinegar.

New Year's Day Black-Eyed Peas
Very Good, but needed "spicing up"; we used 2 cans Rotel (drained) & 1 tbls garlic salt instead of canned tomatoes & garlic powder. Plus 2 chopped jalapenos, & only 1 cup chopped ham.
