The Best Vegetarian Chili in the World
I changed this up a little. I started out with the base of this chili, but I used 1 can of organic kidney beans and 1 of navy. My family isn't big on black beans or chick peas. I omitted the jalepenos and used 1 can of the chiles. (Family likes it hot, I like it spicy, but able to be eaten) They also like a red chili. I added one large can of diced fire roasted organic tomatos, and one can organic tomato paste, to it I added 2 1/2 cups water. Used the spices called for. This had just enough "warmth" from the peppers, and a very good taste..I'll be making it again. Thanks for the great base!

Homesteader Cornbread
Great recipe! I substituted organic whole wheat flour and date sugar. Appearence changed, but the taste was great! Next time I think I'll add some creamed corn as one of the other reviewers suggested.

Andrea's Pasta Fagioli
This is one of my familys favorite soups, my grown sons #1 favorite. I only change one thing, I throw in a small can of Diced fire roasted organic tomatoes. I cook the pasta seperatly and add to the soup when serving it. The taste of this soup is so good... I make it pretty frequently during the winter months.. YUM!
