Ham Bone Soup
About this Cook
self proclaimed "Crock Pot Diva".
My favorite things to cook
Borscht! I ? Borscht! Reminds me of being a kid and running around my Grandfathers house.
My favorite family cooking traditions
for Thanksgiving we give the Turkey a "Wild Turkey" bath for 2 days prior to cooking on Thanksgiving. It is very delicious and makes the turkey very moist.
My cooking tragedies
I recently tried Praline Yams for Thanksgiving.... Big Failure.. Everyone hated them and the entire casserole dish was wasted.

Mashed Potato Soup
I tend to over do the Mashed Potatos and there is ALWAYS a ton left. This was a great recipe to use up the leftovers. The recipe was easy and everyone liked it. Served it with a Ceaser Salad and some fresh french bread to dip it in.

Four Cheese Macaroni and Cheese
This was my first attempt at making Home Made Mac and cheese, and I only gave it 2 stars because my two year old liked it. I guess it wasn't the kind of Mac and Cheese I was looking for. It was not creamy, it was a little on the dry side and super cheesy. My Husband told me not to make it again. I felt sick to my stomach after I ate it. Perhaps I did something wrong? I will definatly keep looking for a different recipe.
