About this Cook
Mother of 2 daughters (1st and 3rd grade). I have been transformed by the AllRecipes.com and the Food Channel from someone who cooked things in packets to someone making wonderful meals for my family.
My cooking tragedies
I have two that will live in infamy. One of the first soups i ever tried to make was a cold cucumber soup. I worked on it for a long time. I took one bite, got up and poured it down the drain. The 2nd tragedy was the first time I tried meatloaf. It was so bad that the stray cat in our neighborhood wouldn't even eat it.

Slow Cooker Ham
with such a simple ingredient list & instructions I was wary..but honestly..this was THE BEST ham i have ever made. This beats all the glazes I have made. My husband agreed - said it was my best ham ever. wow!

Salisbury Steak
Surprisingly yummy! This would be good to serve to your parents or something...but not fancy enough for other company. A good mid-week meal and will probably reheat nicely for some wonderful leftovers / lunch!
