Baklava II
wow!! this is a great recipe. I had never worked with phyllo dough before and was scared, but it turned out okay! (just keep it covered with plastic wrap) I also did not brush every single layer with butter, just the top of each of the 4 (Although brushing the last couple layers would make it easier to cut). I also subbed the almonds for 1/2 pecans, 1/2 walnuts and added a little cardamom to the nut mixture.

Bean Quesadillas
If you find this too oily/greasy, try doing it on the grill! it gives a great flavor and a nice crunchiness to the tortillas. We use red pepper instead of green, omit the corn, mix mozzarella cheese with the cheddar and add green chiles to the mix. yum!! thanks for a great recipe!

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles
this was an amazing recipe! incredibly easy.. I needed a little more of the sugar/cinnamon mixture than the recipe called for. When I mixed up the second batch of mixture, I substituted half of the cinnamon for powdered cardamom. yum!! very tasty as well. Also, to the people who thought the cookies were too hard: when the cookies start to look cracked, but the dough still looks wet in the cracks, pull them out -- otherwise, the cookies get too hard.
