Husband and I loved the soup. Not so much with the kids. Added 1/4 tsp. Cayenne pepper like others suggested. Glad I did because it added a little 'bite' to it. Also, added 2 tablespoons of brown sugar and cut salt to 1/2 tsp. Cooked onions in broth and after I processed them, I put everything in the crock pot. Put the crock pot on low for 3 hours. Twenty minutes before serving, I added the cream. Great fall soup!
