About this Cook
I love to bake! Cookies, cakes, pies...anything! I do enjoy cooking and experimenting with different spices but baking is a challenge, one wrong move can ruin the dish.
My favorite things to cook
My famous fudge! I only make it on birthdays though, because it has started fist fights and has broken up friendships. Its powerful fudge!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family is catholic so on christmas eve, we don't eat meat...only seafood and vegetarian dishes. Because I can cook very well, I am always elected to cook the dinner! the main dish always changes every year and No one is ever disappointed!
My cooking triumphs
Brownies! It took 4 years of trial and error, but I finally found and made the PERFECT brownie recipe!
My cooking tragedies
Pastry for pie crust. For the life of me I cannot make pastry for pie crusts...Thank god the ready made pie shells aren't expensive!

Chocolate-Chocolate Chip Bacon Cookies
A very very very good cookie! I couldnt really taste the bacon on mine, though I mght add more pieces of bacon because the saltiness of the bacon and the sweetness of the cookie is incredible! Havent you ever dipped your bacon in maple syrup run off from your pancakes?! Its amazing! these cookies are fantastic!

Shrimp Tempura
OMG!! This is such a great tempura recipe!!! i didnt have corn starch or shortening, i substituded for corn meal and butter and it STILL turned out amazing! I made onion rings with the recipe and dusted garlic salt when I took them out of the oil. I made about 2-3 onions and in about...15-20 minutes, the plate was licked clean, my family ate them all, I think I only had a couple to taste. Im making more as I type but I had to review it first! Definitely a keeper!!!

Maine Lobster Lasagna
I made this for christmas eve (catholic and we dont eat meat on christmas eve) and although very rich, it was a total hit! I used a huge can of fresh and cooked lobster meat, as well as a few cans of crab meat. Everyone loved it! All my guests took some for left overs! I don't give out 5 stars very often unless I am super impressed....This deserves AT LEAST 5! Thanks for the awesome recipe
