Bread Machine Rolls

Wonderful! These are like the rolls my aunt makes, old style. I wanted a good recipe that I could throw into the bread machine. This is IT! Love it. It makes 12 large rolls. All were eaten day one. But easy enough to remake. My son made a turkey sandwich on one. Nice and large.

Sweet Potato Casserole IV

I never liked sweet potatoes until I had these. LOVE them!! I did cut sugar back to 1/2 as some other reviewers suggested. I put pecans only on half. Kids dont like nuts. Just wonderful! Reheats fine.

Cracked Sugar Cookies I

Sugar cookies are my favorite. This recipe is awesome. My only complaint (haha) is that the dough is so good, I kept nibbling at it, resulting in less cookies. Took 13 mins in my oven. No need for icing!

Sour Cream Pork Chops

The night I made these, I received complaints. Too dry. My pork chops were butterflied so being thinner, didnt take as long to cook so they were dry. My sauce didnt thicken either. I served the leftovers a few nights later and everyone liked them. Maybe since they soaked in the sauce and werent so dry. I'll try them again. I would warn to not over cook. SO easy to do with pork anyway. I dont know what to suggest about thickening the sauce though.

Buttermilk Wheat Rolls

I followed the recipe, no changes. They were ok. Kids didnt like them but they like white bread. My husband and I only eat wheat. They were ok but nothing special. I still havent found THE wheat roll recipe.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

These were ok. Nothing special. No one was impressed. Seemed like regular barbque chicken. I followed the recipe and used a good sauce. I think they cook alot faster than called for. I wont be making them again for sure.

Playgroup Granola Bars

I wasnt that impressed when I first tasted them. But when they cooled, and I ate 5 bars, I decided I liked them alot! I cooked them for 20 mins. Definately long enough! I think this is a good base recipe that you could alter MANY different ways and not mess up. I used 1/2 ap flour and 1/2 wheat. I didnt have wheat germ so I used part flax seed and part wheat bran. I used SPlenda brown sugar instead. I used dates instead of raisins. Based on other's suggestions, I cut them while they were hot and stored in plastic container. Still soft day after. I am not a huge granola bar fan, but do like oatmeal. Really enjoyed these bars.

Banana Banana Bread

I used 1/2 cup of wheat flour and 1 1/2 AP flour. I also added pecans, cinnamon, vanilla and nutmeg. I cooked it in mini loaf pans. Only took 20 mins. Very good!

Cheesy Onion Focaccia

I screwed it up and forgot the olive oil and it still turned out. I chopped the onions. Dont do that. It would be much better like they said. They kind of got lost being chopped. Everyone loved it. Even my 8 yr old son! And my very picky father. I cant wait to make it again and make it right. We all really enjoyed it.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

These are the BEST! Before making them, I thought how good or different could one recipe be more than another. They are Perfection like other reviewers said. They are bakery good. I prefer milk chocolate chips as opposed to semi sweet so thats what I used. They are actually even better after they cool.

Zucchini Yogurt Multigrain Muffins

Everyone loved them from my retired diabetic aunt to my 2 yr old. We made them right before a long road trip and we snacked on them. Chosen over chocolate bars. We cut the raisins back and added cranraisins, which we prefer. I was very low on nuts so didnt have recommended amount. Still great. Nuts are personal preference anyway.

Cinnamon Cranraisin Bread

I have made several times. I normally dont like raisin bread. I just dont like chewy stuff in my bread. But this is wonderful. I have used cranraisins and dried cranberries. I use by bread machine and add the cranberries when it beeps. I make this regularly. Definately one of my favorites.

Buttery Rolls

Finally the roll recipe I was looking for! These are wonderful! I love hot, homemade rolls. They complete a meal. I have been through numerous recipes, most were "ok" but these are a keeper! Reheats nicely. I used my bread machine to make dough.

Spaghetti Squash with Pine Nuts, Sage, and Romano

I couldnt believe how good this was! I didnt have Romano by itself so I used a four cheese blend that hard Romano, Parmesan and 2 other cheeses. Reheats well too. I had to have some for lunch the next day. My husband said its one of the best thing he's tasted. My 2 yr old ate it as well.

Soft, Moist and Gooey Cinnamon Buns

10 stars!!! My friend made this as her first recipe in her new bread machine. They were gone instantly. I made a batch the same wkend and she had to make a second batch. We made 3 batches over 1 wkend. Family couldnt get enough and asking for more. They are wonderful!!!

Hamantashen

This is the first time I've ever had Hamantashen. I thought they were good. I used the poppy seed filling but I think the cookie part is a good base and you could use different kinds of fillings. My kids love poppy seed stuff in general but they thought this was a strange flavor. It may have been the vanilla or flavoring in the canned filling. Overall, I liked it and made it as part of my teaching the kids about the tradition of Purim.

This was really good. Even the kids liked it. I used my bread machine. It has adjustments for various crust levels. I used the light setting. I should've used the medium crust. Its a wonderful bread.
