I wasnt that impressed when I first tasted them. But when they cooled, and I ate 5 bars, I decided I liked them alot! I cooked them for 20 mins. Definately long enough! I think this is a good base recipe that you could alter MANY different ways and not mess up. I used 1/2 ap flour and 1/2 wheat. I didnt have wheat germ so I used part flax seed and part wheat bran. I used SPlenda brown sugar instead. I used dates instead of raisins. Based on other's suggestions, I cut them while they were hot and stored in plastic container. Still soft day after. I am not a huge granola bar fan, but do like oatmeal. Really enjoyed these bars.
