Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2008
The chicken tasted okay but I thought the veggies (after marinating all day) had a great flavor. These weren't bad but not my favorite recipe. I think I will stick with the Key Lime Chicken.

Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

I am so glad that I put the boxed stuff back and found this great recipe. It was easy and went great with my bar b que chicken pizza. This is a must have recipe on those nights when you want a fast pizza and don't have time for a rising crust.

Kielbasa with Peppers and Potatoes

I totally forgot to review this recipe. It was one of our favorite winter comfort foods. This was so fast, easy, and tasty. Added some cajun seasoning and a whole onion and I added some bar b que sauce to my bowl.

Pepperoni Dip I

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2008
We thought this was awesome! I think the cream cheese mixture needs a little more oregano and garlic, and next time I am going to add a little sausage to give it a true pizza taste. Also added a little crushed red pepper to the sauce for a kick. Will be making this again.

This was a hit. A different twist on your usual dips you get at a party. Served it with tortilla chips and chuncks of french bread.

Very easy and very tasty. It makes a ton so cut the recipes in half or be prepared to have some leftover.

Bacon-Potato Burritos

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2008
These were excellent and everyone gobbled them up. I did however double the bacon and eggs and omitted the worcestershire sauce. I sauted some onions and red bell pepper before adding the hashbrowns. I set the chesse on the side and let everyone add as much as they wanted along with hot sauce. This was a very hearty breakfast with a rich taste.

Slumber Party Pizza

This was very tasty and very easy. I cooked my chicken in the crockpot while I was out running errands and then shredded and mixed in Sweet Baby Ray's Bar B Que sauce to our families taste. I used it with Jay's Signature Pizza Crust, and added cilantro and purple onions. It was hit with my husband.

Spicy Mexican Salad

This is one of my favorite "I don't have time to cook" meals. It is so easy to throw together espcially on those busy weekdays. We use ranch beans and what ever lettuce I have on hand.

Pizza Pasta

This is the best "make ahead" recipe for all working moms! Made it the night before and added all the ingreidents plus all the pizza veggies, mushrooms, red bell pepper, onion, black olives, parmesean cheese, and some crushed red pepper. My husband and 2 year old devoured it so I be adding this to my busy week day meal rotation.

Cajun Grilled Corn

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2008
This was a nice twist on traditional grilled corn. I did however husk my corn, rub butter all over and sprinkle the cajun seasoning onto it, and then wrapped it up in foil. Mine took about 45 minutes on the grill so plan ahead so it can be done when you take your meat off the grill.

Key West Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2008
This was perfect. I did let it marinade all day but next time it really needs to sit over night to get the full effect of the flavors. I did double the marinade but decreased the soy sauce, which with the extra honey and soy made the best flavor combo. I paired this with the Garlic Parmesan Orzo from this site. This will definitely be one of my top grilling marinades this summer!

Wow I can't believe this dosen't have more reviews. This is so amazing and easy! I paired it with the Key West Chicken and it was a hit with the family. I did decrease the butter and omitted the parsely (didn't have any)and added some sweet onion. This will definitely be one of my new side dishes to serve.

Sorry we just didn't care for this one. I think the Spicy Bean Salsa from this site is a much better bean dip and suits our taste better.

Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing

This was amazing!! I think next time I will add less oil because it seemed a little heavy. Sereved on romaine, with dried cranberries, toasted walnuts, purple onion, and feta cheese. Not a drop left in the bowl.

Oven Fries

Made these tonight to go with our grilled hamburgers and hotdogs. The sugar adds the right touch. I did use garlic salt on half and cajun seasoning on the other half. Even my picky 2 year old ate some dipped in ketchup! Great alternative to the deep fried version.

I think this was the easiest and tastiest cake I have made in a long time. It was so moist and I love the pineapple topping. I am going to try it with some coconut next time for a summer tropical taste.

Wow what a great and easy recipe! I am not a hugh ranch fan but this had a "baked potato" taste. Made as stated but added a little sour cream and cheddar cheese. I will making this again for our summer bar b que's.

The Best Veggie Sandwich

This was so tasty and good! I omitted the sprouts and seasame seeds. I added some garlic powder to the avocado and used cheddar cheese. Don't forget the ranch (I prefer the kind you mix with mayo and buttermilk) it really brings all the flavors together.

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2008
What a great and easy week night meal. I pounded my chicken breast down so they would cook faster and skipped the whole flour step. I did add a onion with the mushrooms. I used the whole can of chicken broth and thickened it up with some corn starch. I think that really gave the sauce a nice sweet flavor and the balsamic vinegar didn't overwhelm the flavor.
