Creamiest Rice Pudding
I LOVE rice pudding! This is an excellent and creamy rice pudding. I followed some of the other suggestions and increased the sugar by 1/3 cup. I also added about 1c of raisins when cooking the rice. I cooked covered on the stove top for about an hour and then because it had not thickened as much as I like I removed the lid turned up the heat a bit and cooked for an additional 20 min or so stirring very often. I tempered the egg mixture before adding and substituted nutmeg for cinnamon (my personal preference) I used some heavy cream and whole milk.
Even though I have a recipie I love I would definately make this again, next time I am going to try the crock pot as suggested and also add a dollop of butter right at the end.
