Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

WOW! Made as directed, but added 1/4 tsp each of paprika and black pepper. Had a head cold and this was like heaven on earth. The rest of the family absolutely loved it too!

Really tasty. I added Italian spices, diced roasted red pepper and a dash of cayenne for kick. I was able to fill mine using a soup spoon with no problem and had enough filling to fill all 12 noodles.

WOW! I used a pint of fresh blueberries and a lemon cake. Next time I will add more blueberries for personal preference. This recipe is SO easy and SO delicious!

Baked Potato Skins

Baked mine in the microwave for about 10 minutes. Scooped the inside out, sprayed skins with Pam and sprinkled with salt. Followed the rest of the directions as stated and these came out wonderful! My family loved them and it was a good change from the usual mashed potatoes. My two year old ate the filling with diced ham.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

I do not care for meatloaf, but this was better than any I can remember and my family loved it. We, too, put the brown sugar and ketchup on the top and also added about a tbsp of worcestershire sauce to the mix. To get my kids to eat veggies I diced bell pepper and carrots really small and added them to the meat. Nobody even noticed!

Shortbread Cookies II

Fresh from the oven just now and WOW! Yummy! Don't make the mistake of overbaking them by gaging their color. These stay virtually the same color when done. Mine were perfect after exactly 10 minutes.

Spanish Rice Bake

My family loved this. Was a little spicy for the baby, but my 9 y.o. loved it. If you soak the raw rice in water while you're gathering the other ingredients/chopping veggies, it doesn't stay hard after cooking for the amount of time recipe calls for.

Rich Butterscotch Bars

My husband liked these alot, but it should be noted these should not be served before chilling in the refridgerator. I didn't chill mine and served at room temp after baking and they just fell to pieces. We put them in the fridge over night and the next day they were great.

Brisket with BBQ Sauce

WOW, this was great! Made this for dinner on Sunday and my family couldn't get enough. Husband said it was the best sauce he's ever tasted. The second time I made it he asked me to double the sauce so he could use some on his potato wedges. This is definitely a keeper!
