Delilah's Frosted Cut-Out Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2009
Excellent cookie! I did chill over-night & baked at 375. Mine were burning at 400. Aside from that, they were tasty, easy to roll & a HUGE hit!

Fabulous. We made them as drop cookies with M & Ms instead of chocolate chips.

Zesty Porcupine Meatballs

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2009
Very good!! My whole family enjoyed it & all had seconds. I doubled the recipe for my family of 6 and tripled the sauce. On the suggestion of another reviewer, I added extra soup to the meat mixture. Baked in oven at 420 for 15 mins, drained fat, then added sauce & baked again for 10 mins. Served over rice. Next time around, I may add extra instant rice, as they weren't very 'porcupine-y'.

Pumpkin Bread IV

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2009
Very good! I had to make some changes based on what I had & after reading other reviews. I used sugar-free applesauce in place of oil, used half splenda & half brown sugar splenda, used 1 540ml can of pumpkin pie filling (oops!) and made muffins & i loaf. They turned out super moist & after we topped them with a cream cheese icing, they only lasted 15 mins with my family of 6.

These are great as is & even better when I made them fat-free. I used all applesauce & no oil. I used Splenda brown sugar blend & added a cup of blueberries.

Triple Berry Crisp

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2008
Very good!! I used frozen berries & added a bit of flour so they wouldn't be runny/watery. I also added 2tbs sugar to the berries. Served warm with vanilla ice cream.

Favorite Old Fashioned Gingerbread

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2008
Very, very good!! I followed the recipe exactly, then doubled all the spices. I baked it in my loaf pan for an hour & 10 mins and it turned out perfectly!!! It is soooo moist & flavourful. We ate half plain, and half with an orange cream cheese sweet icing. Very yummy!! Will make this again.

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2008
Very, very, very good!! This will become our favourite banana bread recipe. I did add mashed bananas instead of sliced, as the thought of biting into a mushy banana didn't appeal to me. Nice banana flavour!!

It was okay. I wouldn't live for them. But they were edible. I probably won't be making this again.

Fabulous!! I used left-over turkey in this and doubled the recipe. I also placed it in a 9x13 pan & placed the pie crust on top and none on the bottom. It was delish! Will be going into our winter menu for sure.

Gingerbread Men

My kids LOVED these!! We followed the recipe exactly and froze in freezer for 20 mins and rolled between parchment paper. Didn't find the dough to be sticky at all. Baked for 9 minutes for a softer chewy cookie. 8 thumbs up (from 4 kids)
