I liked this a lot. I only had ground thyme so I used 1/4 tsp rather than 1/2. I added the paprika right into the sauce (I love paprika) and also a splash of garlic and onion powders, but that's just personal taste. I also made this with skim milk (all we have) and it thickened up perfectly. All three kids ate their cauliflower with no moaning. Yay!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Love these with half semi-sweet chips and half white chocolate chips. Awesome cookies, and they come out perfect every time.

Scalloped Potatoes and Onions

Definitely a keeper! Easy to make and absolutely delicious...the whole family loved them. They're so rich and creamy, it's hard to believe there's no cream or cheese in there!

Bacon-Wrapped Chicken

My family loves this recipe...we usually have it with 'chickeny chickeny rice' from this site and carrots or asparagus. The sauce in the pan is fabulous over the rice and veg. Thanks for posting it!

Gingerbread Men

I made these for my son's school party. I figured the kids would prefer a less spicy flavor, and these fit the bill. We put frosting and candy on them, so the mild sweetness of the cookies was perfect. I quadrupled the recipe and got about 70 3" cookies in the gingerbread shape. I normally find rolled cookies very frustrating, but these were really easy. Using two cookie sheets and parchment paper, I was able to roll and bake all 70 in less than two hours.

Marble Squares I

These were delicious. I was a little concerned when I pulled them out of the oven because the center was really jiggly, but once they cooled down they were the texture I expected. They were very easy to make (I did wait 10 minutes before swirling the chips in like the other reviewer advised) and my kids loved them (okay, I did too!). Just make sure you have plenty of milk in the house...they're really rich!

Chickeny Chickeny Rice

This rice was the perfect side dish I was looking for. I wanted something savory, similar to the boxed brand but not as salty. This rice had a lovely, mellow flavor and everyone really liked it. I made it with bacon-wrapped chicken (by LaDonna Reed) from this site, and the sauce from the chicken on top of this rice was fabulous. This recipe is definitely a keeper!

Penne with Spicy Vodka Tomato Cream Sauce

Absolutely delicious! I halve the red pepper for my little ones, but otherwise follow the recipe exactly. This is a family favorite...my 3 yr old requested it for her birthday dinner!

Pork Loin with Caraway Crust
