Any type of dessert, but especially cakes, cookies, and cupcakes. I like making Italian and Mexican dishes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
When I was a kids, my parents would make eggs benedict for brunch on Christmas day instead of the whole turkey / ham dinner. It is still one my favorite dishes today.
My cooking triumphs
I made an excellent prime rib dinner for Christmas two years ago. I also try to bake my family and friends a birthday cake and I try to make it something delicious and beautiful just for them.
My cooking tragedies
I once made a delicious potato leek soup for an appetizer for our Christmas dinner. Everything went well until I was adding the coarse black pepper at the end. I went to shake some out and the whole contents went into the pot.
