Smoked Oyster Spread

Seriously yummy! I used 8 oz cream cheese, a tad of the oyster oil, Worcestershire & hot sauce. Sprinkled with a little pepper, cayenne, parsley and onion powder. Really loved this - 5 stars.

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

OMG - why pay $$$ per slice out on the town, when it's super simple and SOOOO much better here! Perfect recipe, I spooned in ice cream topping THINLY on top of graham cracker crust, added 1/2 of mix, sprinkled in 2 chopped Reese's cups, added remaining topping. I added another 2 more chopped Reese's cups on top followed by criss-crossing chocolate syrup.

Easy OREO Truffles

PERFECT and simple. Added 2 crushed candy canes in recipe, dipped ball after chilling for 30 mins. in 1/2 bag of semi-sweet chips with 1 oz Paraffin melted in. Sprinkled each one after dipping with crushed candy canes. OMG - best cookie to give! I used double stuff cookies and recipe made exactly 40 of the 1" balls.

Kalua Pig in a Slow Cooker

5 stars and it really is that easy! I've made pork butt before and never has it tasted so good with so little work. I didn't use the liquid smoke or the fancy salt (I used regular sea salt), but added some extra seasoning to the salt rub (to suit my taste). I put it on high in the crock pot and did nothing to it for 6 hours. Compliments all over the place. This is a keeper.

Best Lemonade Ever

Seriously easy and very good! I used bottled lemon juice, didn't have fresh lemons on hand. It was every bit as good. I plan to keep some syrup on hand in the fridge to whip up quick batches as needed.

Butter Cream Frosting II

3 stars because the fluff and texture was nice looking. I agree that it comes out like the frosting you get at a bakery (and just as greasy feeling which is why I don't buy bakery cakes) only in this one, you can actually taste the crisco. I'll keep looking for another frosting. Sorry!

Fresh Pineapple Upside Down Cake

PERFECT Didn't have pineapple juice so I used liquid from my fresh pineapple and mixed with orange juice. I cut up the pineapple versus trying to make rings. If you follow everything else, your recipe will be perfect. I've never had a pineapple upside down cake taste so delicious, fresh and flavorful. I actually made in a 9x13 pan without doubling the recipe which was my mistake, however the ratio of cake and yummy topping was delish. 5 stars and I'll never make with a cake mix again.

Ranch Oyster Crackers

Perfect and makes bunches. Don't add more seasoning until coated well, I promise you won't need any and I always add seasoning to everything else I make. Well done, even my picky 13 year old tasted and loved them.

Followed as directed. I did not care for this recipe. Flavor was just ok, not too sweet, not too spicy, kinda bland even with added seasoning. I'll keep looking, to perfect. Was not the crunch I was looking for at all, cooking any longer to get that small crunch would have resulted in a black coating.

Very quick and easy. I gave 4 stars because I too, made them as sloppy joes, instead as directed. I added some honey, brown sugar and bbq sauce as well. Very simple and filling!

Rosemary Turkey Meatloaf

This is THE BEST recipe for turkey meatloaf ever. I followed everything but omitted the 1 cup milk, it really isn't even needed, it's plenty moist without it. Sauce on top makes it fantastic. This goes in the weekly rotation for good! I did add a few spices that my family likes along with minced peppers. Thanks for sharing this one.
