Sour Cream Pork Chops

These are the best pork chops I have ever had! I didn't believe that they would really be tender enough to fall apart but they were. I used light sour cream but otherwise followed as written. I will definitely be making these often. My husband loved them too. Great flavor, easy to make.

Old Bay® Crab Cakes

I have made these twice now. I enjoyed them and I like the consistency alot. I think that the bread mixed with milk is better than using bread crumbs, but that is my personal taste. I agree that it needs more spices and next time I will add more Old Bay and some dried mustard.

Creamy Kielbasa and Potato Soup

I have been looking for a hot dog soup recipe for my husband whose mother made it for him as a child. This seemed to match his description of the recipe except with kielbasa. So I switched the kielbasa for beef hot dogs. Otherwise I followed the recipe. He liked it alot! I thought is was good also. I did use low salt broths and I did not think it was too salty.

Serious Herb Cheese Spread

I made this today (Easter) to put out before dinner with crackers. I followed the recipe exactly. Everyone liked it alot. The herbs are strong tasting but delicious! A great combination of flavors. I just put it in a bowl to refridgerate it.

Stuffed Brie

This was delicious! My husband loves Brie so when I saw this I had to try it. I followed the recipe except that I cooked it in the oven at 350 for 20 minutes as other reviewers did. The mixture of flavors was very tasty. We will be having this again.

October Apple Pie

I thought this pie was very good and so did the other 3 of my family members that ate it at dinner last night. But I think it had too much lemon (I didn't even use all of my lemon because it was very juicy) and I couldn't really taste the caramel in it. There were some unmelted pieces in the pie though. I think next time I will use the caramel syrup and only 1 tablespoon or so of lemon. The consistency of the filling was very nice, not runny as some pies are. Thank you for the recipe!

Easy Roasted Pork

Freezer Caramel Drizzle Pie

This pie was soooooo good. My husband raved about it, he thinks it should get some kind of award! Usually when there is one piece of something left he always insists that I have it. Not with this pie! He wanted as much as he could get. We took the second pie to my sister's house when my parents were visiting and they all really liked it too. I have just sent them the recipe. I used low fat cream cheese and half the butter. In one word: Scrumptious! 11/19/2008 I am updating my review: I have now made this pie using peanuts and using walnuts depending on who I was making it for. (Peanuts is my preference.) It is delicious no matter which nuts you use. Everyone LOVES it. It is very rich and creamy. I do use fat-free caramel and light whipped cream and low fat cream cheese.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

I followed other reviewers suggestions and used olive oil instead of butter and I used low fat cream cheese and low fat/low sodium soup. My husband & I enjoyed the flavor of this very much. It was creamy and had just the right seasoning. I gave the recipe to my daughter and she and her husband really liked it also. The chicken was so tender I was able to give it to my 10 month old granddaughters. They seemed to like it too!

Garlic Green Beans

I was looking forward to enjoying this recipe after reading such great reviews. The beans were heavy and greasy (and I used fresh, steamed beans) and the garlic was too much. I will definitely NOT be making this again.

Truck-Stop Buttermilk Pancakes

These pancakes were OK. They were not as fluffy as I like my pancakes to be. After reading all the great reviews I was expecting something great and made them for Father's Day. No one else in the family was too excited about them either.

Pennsylvania Dutch Corn Pie

New Wife Tuna Salad

Linda's Lasagna

I was looking for a lasagna recipe this morning and how could I pass this up with such great reviews? I was a little anxious becuse of the homemade sauce but it was definitely worth it! This is the best! The only change I made was to add a can of sliced mushrooms. The flavor was wonderful. My family really enjoyed this. I can't wait to have the leftovers!

Foil-Pack Taco Chicken Dinner

The chicken turned out quite moist and tasty. I did not put the potatoes in the pack with the chicken because of what I read from other reviewers but I will definitely make the chicken again. It was soooo easy!

Party Punch IX

I made this for a baby shower. It was very tasty and it got alot of compliments. However, I only gave it three stars because it was not the easiest punch I have ever made. Actually, it was messy. There is so much of it that it is cumbersome to mix and takes a lot of room to freeze. Then, I had to worry about it thawing out enough but not too much. As good as it tasted I'm not sure I would go through all that trouble again.

Weekend Brunch Casserole

I tried this recipe last weekend and it was delicious. My husband & I both enjoyed it. I took some of the leftovers to my daughter & son-in-law and they liked it also. I followed other reviewers suggestions and baked the crescent rolls for 5 minutes while I was cooking the sausage. I also used half mozzarella and half cheddar cheese. I will definitely make this again, probably for Christmas morning!

Marinated Grilled Shrimp

I followed the recipe with the exception of substituting ketchup for the tomato sauce. I have made this twice and both times my husband & I loved the flavor of the shrimp! It was the best! I gave the recipe to my daughter and she & her husband also enjoyed it very much. Thanks for a terrific recipe!
