My cooking tragedies
I made beef stroganoff for my husband as a newlywed - left it on the stove to keep warm while I picked him up from work - forget the stove was on and went to visit relatives for a while - came home to find the neighbors had called the fire department because it burnt so badly! No damage to the apartment, thankfully!

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Muffins
I absolutely love this recipe! I have made it as written, or omitted the topping, or substituted 1C bluberries, 1\2c almonds and 1t cinnamon for the chocolate chips and pecans. Always turn out delicious!
