I made this tonight for my husband and family and it was a hit! My 6 year old said it was delicious. My husband doesn't like tomato cream sauces, but he went back for thirds with this recipe! I substituted sweet turkey sausage and it came out great. I plan on making it for an upcoming party this weekend.

I just made these tonight and they are like nothing I've ever had! They are cake-like and like another reviewer said, they bake up exactly as you put them on the sheet. Next time I will most definitely add more cinnamon and nutmeg and I think using the whole bag of chocolate chips is better. I'd imagine that mini chocolate chips would be fantastic in this recipe. I find that with pumpkin recipes, they always taste better the next day. Overall, this is a very interesting recipe worth a try.

I was looking for a chocolate chip cookie recipe that didn't require brown sugar because I didn't have any, and came across this recipe which looked promising. I have never tried a chocolate chip cookie that I didn't like...until I had these. First off, they're really crispy because they're so flat, which really wasn't so bad. The bad part is that mine came out really salty. I mean REALLY salty. I'm not sure why no one else seemed to have this problem. I measured everything exactly as it listed. My four year old didn't even finish his cookie and I didn't bother making the whole batch.
