Broccoli Rice Casserole

I was worried about this ending up soupy because what I poured in to the casserole dish was very thin, but it ended up with a great consistency. It could have used a little more flavor, next time I will add more salt & pepper.

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili

Five stars for how easy this is! It's a very good basic chili. I thought it might taste too much like tomato sauce since it calls for 2 1/2 cups, but that was not the case. I made it as is and really liked it. You can adjust the spice, heat, sweetness, etc. based on your preference (and based on what type of chili seasoning and salsa you use). I used Herdez mild salsa and McCormick Chili seasoning.

Pork Chop Potato Casserole

Fluff Dip for Fruit

I have made this several times now, and it is always a big hit at my house and at parties. I do use only about 1/4 cup of alcohol instead of the 1/2 cup called for. This does make a lot, but as another reviewer noted, just put half back in the cool whip container and freeze it for later.

Rich Chocolate Frosting

Oriental Sesame Slaw

I made this exactly as directed and thought it was pretty bland, but it looks like I'm in the minority here! I wish I would have taken another reviewer's suggestion to julienne the jicama, because it lost a lot of its crunchiness when grated. I think I'll stick with sal's blue cheese cole slaw from this site, but thanks for sharing the recipe!

Chicken Zucchini Casserole

Can I give this 10 stars? I've made this for a number of different occasions and have repeatedly been asked for the recipe. Even the pickiest eaters I know like this casserole. If you like stuffing, you will be in love with this casserole. The leftovers are great too! I make it exactly as written. Bev Dutro, if I ever win a million dollars, I'm giving it to you for sharing this recipe with the rest of us.

Sesame Noodles

I wonder if 6 tbsp oil is a typo, because that makes it way too oily. You can make this five stars by only using 1-2 tbsp or oil and adding some veggies (carrots, cucumber, zucchini, etc). Thanks for sharing the recipe--it's a good starting out point!

Blue Cheese Crusted Filet Mignon with Port Wine Sauce

Greens with Hot Bacon Dressing

I thought the flavors of this were very good (how could they not be with so much bacon)?! I did not find it overly vinegary. I followed the directions exactly, but my dressing congealed on the salad a little bit even though my spinach was room temperature. Also, this probably isn't the best dish for picky eaters.

Lemon Square Bars

Garlic Mashed Red Potatoes

Based on the reviews, I expected to be wowed, so I was a little let down. They were very good mashed potatoes, just nothing super special. If I make these again, I will add more seasoning including more garlic. This recipe is pretty fool proof though, so if you need a good basic mashed potato recipe, you can't go wrong with this. I left the skins on and I think it helped. Thanks for the recipe.

Grilled Tilapia with Mango Salsa

I would give this ten stars if I could!! I used the George Foreman grill to cook these as others suggested, and they turned out great. Otherwise, I followed the recipe to a T. I don't even like fish, but this was awesome. Thanks for this great recipe!

Jay's Jerk Chicken

I didn't think this tasted all that much like jerk chicken, but it was still really good! I added some garlic like other reviewers suggested. Next time I will use hotter peppers to make it a little spicier. But I will definitely make this again and again!
