Cashew Crusted Chicken

I made this with Panko bread crumbs instead of cashews and it was still really good. Loved the sauce - I did add a bit more curry than it called for because I love the flavor.

Jayme's Cole Slaw

The dressing for this coleslaw is REALLY good - love the celery seed in it. I put a variety of vegetables in it (cabbage, carrots, radishes - whatever's around) and the dressing makes it delicious. I may try it with broccoli and cauliflower pieces! Thanks!

Rich Chocolate Frosting

This frosting is awesome! Very chocolatey, but delicious. It stays creamy, instead of hardening up like some homemade frostings do. Next time I think I'd add almond extract instead of the vanilla - that would make it even more delicious!

Granny's Banana Bread

I had to cook this longer than the 45 minutes to get the inside to set, but in doing that, the outside got crunchy. Not sure if covering it would have helped - maybe next time. Not the best banana bread recipe I've found, but not bad at all either.

Bob's Blue Cheese Dressing

I thought the flavor of this was really good - I put it all in the blender to make it more of a smooth dressing and I don't think it was as good as it would have been chunky. I'll try it again without blending it.

Tuna Noodle Casserole I

I made this with ham instead of tuna (I know, I know) - but it was still delicious. The cheese sauce was easy making this a great lunch to throw together. I'll be making it with tuna today. :)

Overnight Apple Cinnamon French Toast

I thought this was amazing and delicious - the kids didn't like it as much, but you can't win them all. I used homemade chunky applesauce instead of the apple pie filling. I don't think I'd use the canned filling only because it's so sweet and homemade applesauce is so easy to whip up - great recipe though! Thanks!

Roasted Carrot Salad

This salad has been extremely well received. I thought it was amazingly easy too. I actually used the food processor to slice the carrots, which made them all fairly uniform and thin enough so they roasted up quickly and nicely. I might try walnuts next time, but I'm not sure how well those would roast. Great salad - served it with the Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette from this site - delicious.

Pecan Pie IV

Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette

I loved these - so did everyone else. I've made them three times already in the past two weeks. The second time I left out the rosemary and the third time, left out the nuts - they're delicious every time!
