Scalloped Potatoes and Onions
This is true comfort food. The only thing I did different was to saute the onion in the butter before adding the flour and I precooked the potatoes in the microwave for 6 min before slicing them. I wanted to have this for a weeknight supper but I didn't want to wait 2 hours for it to bake; so by doing this I was able to reduce the baking time to 1 hour. It was a homerun with the whole family and I will make it often.
