What cooking shows do you watch?
The only one I tivo is Barefoot Contessa. I have all of her cookbooks and they are amazing. Every thing you make out of them turns out incredible.
Your must-have kitchen accessory is:
Santoku knife and my citrus squeezer.
What is your go-to ingredient?
Garlic and fresh herbs from my garden.
How many courses should a meal have?
that depends.
What's your favorite course?
Dessert with appetizers a close second. I usually will look at the dessert menu in a resturant first.
What famous person, living or dead, would you like to make a meal for?
This one is stumping me!!
And, what would you serve them?
I think it would be something easy- maybe home made pizza so we could talk and work side by side.
What's your favorite style of cooking?
Style? I like to cook fresh and easy on the weekdays and that can include tons of different styles. We are equal opportunity eaters around here
What nationality of food do you like the best?
Mexican, Asian, Greek and Indian, BUT, I really like a lot of different international food and will try just about any thing once.
What's your favorite meal of the day to prepare?
Dinner!
Where do you find inspiration when creating a new dish?
Cooking shows or Martha Stewart living on serius satellite radio.
Who has been your greatest inspiration in the kitchen?
My brother.
What is your favorite comfort food?
mash potatoes and gravy.
Do you ever eat fast food? If so, what?
Very rarely, but if I do Taco Bell.
What restaurant do you want to eat at that you haven't eaten at yet?
The list is way to long.
What do you serve at Thanksgiving dinner?
Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, 1 veggie and pie.

yep, and usually "cook" myself in the process:) he he!!
How much time do you spend cooking a meal just for yourself?
Not much.
What would be your dream job as a chef?
Own my own restaurant.

lima beans

A really nice piece of fresh fish from whole foods.

I rarely eat after dinner.
