My mom always took me with her to one of her friend's houses to bake cookies all day. We would end up with cookies to freeze for the entire holiday season. Hosting Thanksgiving at my house for 16 people. I did all the cooking and it turned out great. Inviting friends over for ribs and chicken on the grill. I had never made ribs before and it was storming outside so my grill kept going out. I ended up finishing in the oven but it was over an hour later and it just was a mess of the meal. Thankfully I had great guests and we enjoyed the evening anyway.
