These are like crack in a pan! they wrap up nice for a perfect thank you/just cause gift for friends and neighbors! We don't like nuts so we skip them. Real butter instead of margarine. Soooooo good!

Very good recipe- I used chicken broth instead of bouillon and water- added carrots instead of red bell pepper and tossed in chopped broccoli with the potatoes. Love the use of evaporated milk! This is a great recipe for the end of the week to use up some leftover over produce- especially on a cold and windy day! Thanks!

I made these two days ago.. I followed the recipe exactly and then added a handful of chocolate chips...Yummy! Tonight I used this same recipe but instead of bananas I chopped up four small apples and sauteed them in the butter until they were soft. For the wet ingredients I had this apple and butter mix, 1 single serving container of applesauce, cinnamon, and vanilla mixed with the egg and sugar. Everything else was the same. So good! Would be good witha streusel topping too!
