Sage Corn Bread Stuffing
Oh, my freaking goodness! I've been a stuffing lover for as long as I can remember, but it's always been stuffing from the box or something like it. Just not Stovetop stuffing. Yucky.
When I heard about sausage stuffing I just had to try it. This recipe looked like a good solid one, so I tried it. It absolutely blows Mrs. Cubbison out of the water. It was just so, so good. My husband even agreed. Sorry, Mrs. Cubbison, but you are not invited to Thanksgiving this year.
The only change I made was to add twice the sausage it called for. I figure if I'm going to use sausage (or even go to the trouble to buy it), I'm going to use a lot of it. Next time, though, I think I'll cut the whole recipe in half because not everyone here loves stuffing, even with sausage. Still, I had more takers than usual. :)
