Pan de Muertos (Mexican Bread of the Dead)

The glaze on this bread is really good! I used anise extract because I am not too fond of the seeds, but I think I might have used too much. Be cautious if you use the extract. Other than that, I really enjoyed this bread, it is good with tea and coffee.

To me, this was just okay. I made the tea for a little party and everyone seemed to like it, but I doubt I'll make it again.

Very yummy. I was in a hurry so I just used some fresh pico de gallo that had tomato onion and cilantro instead of preparing everything separately. It was a big hit!

Purple Plum Pie

I too made this recipe without the crust and it turned out great. I followed the suggestions of another user and substituted half the flour for oats in the topping. This was an awesome, easy dessert that I would love to make again!

A great Halloween cookie! They have a good, not to sweet taste. I added green food coloring to mine. You can definitely get creative with these, adding warts, extra red icing for blood, etc. These cookies are gross but cute at the same time!

Absolutely delicious! Unfortunately, I didn't have any sesame seeds so I added about a tsp of sesame oil. Also, I wanted a little kick so I added some thai red chili sauce. Amazing, I wish I had made more!

This was really easy and tasted great! I used sweet and low instead of sugar to make this recipe sugar-free. I followed the suggestions and added vanilla and cinnamon, and also substituted milk for water. I think I will make this again.

I really like the extra kick of the hot sauce. Not enough to make it spicy, but it adds a really good flavor!

The biggest hit at our Thanksgiving dinner! I halved the amount of white sugar in the sweet potatoes and used the full amount of brown sugar in the topping. It was just the perfect sweetness.

I really liked the sauce on the fruit, to me it was not too lemony. I also used all fresh fruit and it was great. I made it for a party and it was the first thing gone!

This was delicious! I loved the flavor of the orange marmalade and the crunch of the walnuts. Definitely better than plain cranberry sauce! And it was easy to make too. I plan on making this again.

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

I made this recipe for the first time tonight and it was wonderful. After reading some of the suggestions in other reviews I used a pork sausage and added all fresh herbs. I also baked it outside of the turkey and used one 14oz can of chicken broth. It was soooo good and I plan to continue making this every Thanksgiving!!

My FAVORITE dessert ever!! This is my first time to make these, but I grew up eating them in Canada. I followed the recipe exactly and they came out perfect. You should definitely try this recipe. Oh- sometimes it can be hard to find custard powder (at least in the stores here in TX!) it works well with vanilla pudding powder too.
