Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast
It was my first time ever to use a slow cooker so I picked this recipes with hundreds of good reviews. Well, the gravy just was not for my taste. My husband didn't like it either. I never use canned soup or things like onion soup mix in my cooking, so the whole thing tasted too artificial, too salty, too overpowering (I could taste the preservatives and MSG in every bite). Next time will make my own gravy, using sour cream (or plain yogurt), broth, spices and herbs.

Russian Tea I
Why Russian? Why Tea? We don't have such tea in Russia... But! If instead of water you use RED WINE and instead of frozen orange juice you use slices of fresh orange, it will become a recipe of GLOGG - the warm fragrant wine. All you need to do is warm up the wine with the spice mix, sugar and oranges. Right before it starts boiling, remove from the heat and serve!
