I love to cook and try out new recipes. I lovingly call my family "my little guinea pigs". They don't seem to mind! I think I could spend hours on this site (and probably already do!). Main courses and appetizers are what I truly like to cook. I'm definitely not one who likes making desserts. Only when company is coming over. I don't seem to have any cooking traditions. Mom wasn't much of a cook, so I guess I'll just start some now for my children. Thanksgiving dinner for 9 people (2003) and getting my 25 year old stepson to actually give me a compliment on a dish I made (prime rib). My Thanksgiving turkey last year. The stupid thing wouldn't cook! We finally had to cut it up and cook it that way. It got all dried out then. Got the oven serviced after that!
