Cream Cheese Penguin and Igloo Scene

Red, White and Blue Burgers
These were good, but I agree that it needs the full package of Ranch dressing mix and I also put in nearly double the blue cheese. I also sauteed the red onion with some garlic. Still needs more UMPH! Guests thought they were good, but no one asked for the recipe.

Authentic and Easy Shrimp Curry
Great quick and easy curry recipe. I could not find curry leaves in our town so I used a teaspoon of curry powder, upped the garam masala a tad and just a little hot garlic curry paste. Delish!

Cream Cheese Penguins
Fun to make these little guys, albeit time consuming (whole thing took about 2-1/2 hours). To make them tastier, I used 1 package of cream cheese, 3 ounces of very finely crumbled feta cheese and ~ 1/4 of a white onion (finely minced) with garlic powder and Beau Monde (spice blend). The feta and onions have to be very small pieces in order for them to fit through a large bore piping tip. I made an igloo out of a cheese ball (any kind you like) covered with the remaining cream cheese and feta mixture. I also insert a wooden skewer with a construction paper flag with the name of our club through the center of the igloo. I made a water scene using sparkly blue wrapping paper and used veggie cut-out of fish (or you can use Goldfishâ„¢ crackers). It was a huge hit!
