Smooth Sweet Tea

I have lived in the South for almost 25 years and never learned to make iced tea. It would always be cloudy and bitter no matter what I did. Finally I did it! I made iced tea and it's really good!

Meatloaf with Sour Cream Sauce

I followed the recipe exactly. This is a nice change from the meat loafs we usually make. Even the picky eaters here liked it so it's a keeper.

Kentucky Biscuits

This is the second biscuit recipe I have tried recently. It may be me but they came out odd shaped and very doughy in the middle. They were simple to make and the flavor is pretty good

Basic Fruit Smoothie

Great basic smoothie recipe. I always use frozen fruit for at least one of the fruits so I don't need to add ice. I usually add apple juice and a dollop of plain yogurt. Refreshing and healthy!

High Temperature Eye-of-Round Roast

We roasted it for 28 minutes (4 lb eye round), turned the oven off, left it in for 2 1/2 hours and it's perfect! My gravy came out good too. Thanks for one of the best recipes ever

World's Best Lasagna

Marinated Barbequed Vegetables

We made this recently but with a few changes. We added some red onion and fresh tiny asparagus. We also added 1 Tbs balamic vinegar to the marinade. It was tasty and a good use of some of our garden vegetables
