I made these a couple of years for our annual cookie exchange and were they a BIG hit!!! My sister especially loves them so much that she has requested them again for this year's exchange. Definitely one of the best recipes to be passed down. YUMMIE!!!

I made this cake for a family gathering and it bowled everyone over. The best compliment I got was that my sister, who considers herself a master baker, had to take some home to have later. She said she warmed it up a bit and topped it off with ice cream and she thought she would die. I have requests now from family and friends to make it for them. Yummmm!!!!

I tried this recipe for a Christmas party that I did a few days ago and it was (according to the HR manager of the company that hired me) the worst cake ever. She said it was super dry and not very appealing. I tried it based on the reviews I read that said it was great. I think I will keep looking.
