I born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri and now we live across the state line in Overland Park, Kansas. Married to a BBQ guy with 1 daughter. I just like to pick a new recipe every weekend and try it out on my family. I like to cook all kinds of dishes. I'm not afraid to try any dish. My mom was a great cook, completely self taught. When she got married she didn't know how to cook anything. I'm like her, just get in there and try!! I guess my truimphs would be that I've never made anything that nobody would eat. And that my husband says I'm a great cook now:) My husband would say a Brussel Sprout recipe that I tried on him. He said he didn't like them as a kid and I thought I could change that, NOT!!!
