About this Cook
I'm a 44 yr old stay-at-home Mom. I have 5 kids that I simply adore! My kids range in age from 25 to 6 months. I remarried almost 5 years ago and we decided we'd like to have children together. That's where my 3 year old and 6 month old come into the picture! Yes, some do call me crazy, but I wouldn't trade it for the world :o)
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking just about anything. I'm not very good at cakes and pastries, but one day would like to be.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I cook and they eat it ;o)
My cooking triumphs
I've been told my mashed potatoes and homemade macaroni and cheese are to die for!
My cooking tragedies
The first time I cooked a turkey for Thanksgiving, I didn't know there was a bag of goodies inside the bird. Who hasn't done that though??

Banana Muffins II
I have been searching for *the* banana muffin and I have found it in this recipe! My 2 year old and I made a batch today and all I can say is *WoW*!! I did a little modification. I added: -1/2 tsp vanilla extract -1 tsp. cinnamon -1/2 cup chopped walnuts -1/2 cup shredded coconut Even without the extras, I am sure this is a winner! You won't be disappointed with this one :o)

Easiest Peanut Butter Fudge
I made a batch of this fudge this morning. Since I'm not a big fan of peanut butter fudge, I had my Husband try it. He said it was creamy and delicious! So simple and easy to make too. I used others suggestion and did the 1, 2, 3 changes. I also used half creamy peanut butter and half extra crunchy... Perfect!!
