Made these tonight for an appetizer and they're delicious. I mixed a little balsamic vinegar with the olive oil to give it a little extra zip - so good!

Other than adding more cinnamon (we prefer a bit more spice) I followed this exactly. It took 35 minutes for both dishes to be done and it smells divine! I'm keeping this one for a quick dessert that's also delicious!

Cookies and Peppermint Ice Cream Cake

This pie tasted GREAT! My only complaint was that the Oreo crumbs pretty much stayed in the bottom of the pan. I also made it in two round cake pans, instead of the large pan. I did one with plain vanilla and one with peppermint pieces in between the fudge and ice cream and sprinkled on top. The layer of fudge really makes this - DELICIOUS!

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

I prefer a more bitter chocolate with the sweet of the strawberries, so I used Semi-sweet chips instead, but had great results! I also made some red, white and blue ones for our weekend bbq - everyone loved them!

Strawberry Cake and Frosting I

I made these today and they are so good! I pureed the strawberries w/my immersion blender and since some of the reviews stated the frosting was runny, I used 6oz in the cake and 4oz in the frosting - it worked perfectly! This is going in my "keeper" recipe file for sure!

Persian Sabzi Polo (Herb Rice with Fava Beans)

This made the house smell wonderful! I used another reviewers recommendation and put a damp towel over the top, worked like a charm and the crust at the bottom was great!

One Bowl Buttercream Frosting

LOVE this fluffy frosting! It's not as heavy as some buttercream can be and beats the pants off the store bought stuff! I added some cocoa powder to make a chocolate version and it was a hit! This one is going in my permanent file!

Easy OREO Truffles

These are a little messy until you get the hang of dipping. I prefer white chocolate, so that's what I use and you have to be careful not get "crumbs" in it, but they are delicious and worth the work! Using a fork to dip the truffles it the easiest thing I've found. And they're great plain too (that's the way my hubby prefers them!).

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

I had this recipe at a friend's house over the summer and LOVED it! I made it for a Games Night dinner we had a month ago and there wasn't any chicken left! Great recipe and it smells amazing while grilling!

Pina Colada Cake III

This cake is super-moist, easy to make and DELICIOUS! I added the toasted coconut that another user suggested and substituted Malibu Coconut Rum instead of regular rum. This is a definite keeper!

Caramel Bars

The best caramel bars I've had! Thanks for the tips on making them in an 8x8 pan, it worked out great! They are a little sweet so I cut mine really small, but other than that they are perfect. I'll be keeping this recipe :)
