We have been married for 5 years and have a baby on the way. I am salon business consultant and he is in purchasing. We own two companies and get little time to cook together but when we do we LOVE IT!
My favorite things to cook
We like a huge variety of things to cook. More importantly... is what we like to eat! Pasta, Mexican, hot dishes, salads, dessert bars... If you have any good recipes send them our way!
My favorite family cooking traditions
We love cooking together and trying new dishes
My cooking triumphs
It is all about the dinner parties or having friends and family over that make us feel the "cooking triumphs"!
My cooking tragedies
My husband does not like to admitt this but we are not good at BBQ! I remember the time he took a shower while the ribs were on the grill??? Enough said!

Pumpkin Cheesecake II
Used Ginger snaps for crust -I don't like pecans so I used 1/2 cup more ginger snaps. Next time I will leave in pan in fridge for a few hours before I remove it from the pan- it deflated a bit. Great flavor- i was concerned about the lemon but it made the cake!

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili
Awesome flavor! I followed some suggestions. I added a full bottle of beer, swtiched a can of chili beans with a of kidney beans, used brown sugar. I cheated and used a can of chopped green chiles which took down the spice a notch. The major change was I only used 1lb of ground chuck and 2lbs of Jennie-O spicy turkey sausage. We made corn bread muffins instead of the Frito's.
