YUM!! I used whole wheat PASTRY flour and my family (including two kids) loved this recipe. I rolled into balls and did not flatten as someone else suggested.

YUM, very spicy and good. Hubby likes only a small cup at a time as a side dish, but I like to eat it as a meal.

Braided Easter Egg Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2008
This bread was so easy--and so festive! I have only made one other bread in the past, and swore I would never do it again. Then I found this recipe. I LOVE IT! Like others said, add an extra 1/2 cup flour before kneading. Also, someone else said the eggs were not edible after baking, but mine were fine to eat I used hard boiled dye eggs from food dye (not a kit dye)!...ENJOY!
