I am the mom of a little girl who will eat just about anything even if she doesn't like it so I have it pretty easy. I don't have a lot of time to cook, but I don't cook prepackaged food too often due to the fact I think children need to eat healthy fresh food. I try to cook with as much vegetables as I can.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook with my daughter who is seven. She already mastered cutting soft foods and making her own PB&J. I have to say that my favorite things to cook are anything my daughter can cook with me. We make eggs and potatos alot because she can help and it's fast. We make alot of salads too, but it's usually out of a bag with a few more vegetables added in.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Making Christmas cookies with my daughter is my favorite tradition.
My cooking triumphs
I can fry an egg...don't laugh...it took me 2 years of eating nasty eggs to get it right. I can cook pancakes until they are done too...lol. I have also mastered cooking popcorn on the stove which is very dangerous I have discovered. I have also learned how to adjust spices to accommodate for the lack of salt I can use due to my boyfriends high blood pressure.
My cooking tragedies
I still can't seem to make good pork chops. I just think they are nasty when I make them.
