About this Cook
Grew up with a mother that was nutrionist and a chef, the sister also went to Cathal Brugha College of catering in Ireland so had lots to learn from both.
My favorite things to cook
Fish Tacos, Sheperds Pie, Scrambles, Lasagna, Skidoo Special, Pizza on the Big Green Egg, Creme Caramel, Irish Stew, White Chicken Chili, Salmon (copper river when in season). Irish Breakfast when you can get actual Irish or English bangers and rashers.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Stews, fry ups (Irish Breakfast), bbq and trying new things on the grill, desserts,
My cooking triumphs
Creme caramel, sheperds pie, scrambles, lasagna,
My cooking tragedies
too many fish dishes to mention and of course the meal that went on fire and wouldn't go out until it got put outside...oh yeah and Yorkshire pudding that went well badly.

Shepherd's Pie I
I make it somewhat similar but I add a can of Tomatoes to give it a little more and I add two stock cubes to the meat and onions as they are frying. I also use real spuds since that I think makes a real difference.
