Spicy Bok Choy in Garlic Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2009
This was wonderful! I hardly ever follow the exact directions as I tweak most recipes to suit my family's taste, but this I made as directed. Excellent flavor. I doubled it and had some of the sauce to serve over our rice. Served with grilled chicken that had been marinated in bottled Soy Vay sauce.

Italian Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2009
We love this! I've made it several times. I do add a lot more water as we love a real soupy soup. I use "Better Than Bouillon" instead of bouillon cubes. It has much better flavor. I use a lot more of the dried herbs than called for as well. But it makes a wonderful meal and we love it. You might try boiling the pasta/noodles separate so it doesn't soak up all your water/juice in the soup.

This was so good! I just warmed the flour tortillas in the microwave for 10 seconds. The next day we had the leftovers. Very tasty. Good job, Jessie.

Chicken a la King I

This is wonderful! I do use chicken broth or stock in place of the water and bouillon granules. I also add a splash of sherry. mmmmm.... I usually make extra as we love this for leftovers.

Acorn Squash Soup

Very tasty! I added garlic and red bell pepper when sauteing onions. Didn't use flour. Used milk/cream combo instead of evaporated milk. Hubby loved it, kids loved it, a real hit. Will definitely make this again.

Swedish Meatballs

mmm...mmm...good! We loved this. Did add a little worcestershire sauce during cooking and sour cream at the end. The lemon gave it a great flavor! Served it over rice and with roasted Brussels sprouts.

Savory Meat Pie

We really liked this. I did add more of the chili sauce and the garlic than was called for. I left my potato in small bits rather than mashing them. Mine came out beautiful! I served it with roasted (olive oil, salt and pepper) brussels sprouts.

Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2007
Wow this was tasty. I added white wine, a little italian seasoning, sliced mushrooms and 1/2 a red pepper during the simmering time at the end. I did use half and half instead of cream. The flavor was wonderful!
