I am a mother of two wonderful children, one girl and one boy. I have been cooking since I was a little one. I came from a family of 8 so it was important to help out with the cooking. I have taken a number of college level courses in cooking. Including Chinese cooking I and II, Microwave cooking I and II, cooking with fresh herbs and cake decorating. I have taken a couple classes with local chefs also. These were both fulfilling and satisfying. I love to try a lot of new things. I love baking Christmas cookies. I have made about 32 different kinds one year. I am always looking for new inspiration. My family loves to help with the Christmas cookie race. They love our Christmas kick off dinner. We usually do that around Oct 12th, (my daughters 6th month birthday). Then on Jan. 6th we usually make a special dinner for my sons 6 month birthday. I have baked and decorated around 10 Wedding cakes. That was very rewarding and fun. I was privileged to do most of my sisters, sister in laws, brothers and brother in laws cakes.
