Pork Chops with Raspberry Sauce

This was REALLY good....but I think I need to add more spices to the chops. My daughter ate TWO chops, that's how much she loved it. It was VERY good and worth making again and again!!!!

I'm rating it 5 stars because my child and BF both really liked it. The only changes I made were: No onions....I used onion powder instead. No green pepper because neither one of us really like it and I didn't have any. Other than that, I followed it to the T. It was good, but nothing OUTSTANDING, in my opinion. I most likely will make this again since they both seemed to really like it. I'm just saying...it was GOOD, but nothing that would really kick me in the arse and make me take notice.

Melt-In-Your-Mouth Meat Loaf

Kabob Marinade

This marinade is AWESOME!!! My fiance took some meat to work and let them try it and there were a LOT that asked for the recipes (it was all guys, too!) The second time, we used it on thin cut pork chops and it was still absolutely WONDERFUL!!!!! This recipe is DA BOMB!! :) Definitely try it!! It is VERY worth it!!!! A++++++++++++++++++++

Different Chicken Divan

This was AWESOME!!! My 7 year old said it was THE BOMB!!! I scaled it down to 4 servings, and all I did different was cook the cubed chicken in olive oil with minced garlic and some onion powder. I also used sweet peas instead of broccoli. It was AWESOME!!!! She said she wants it again!

Pleasant Pork Chops

OK, first of all, I have to admit I did not follow it to the "T". I went by other users suggestions and tips. BUT, for the most part, I followed it pretty closely, but the chops turned out dry, probably because my stove top is weird. BUT, I have to say, my daughter ate the sh** out of it and was LICKING the plate, and told me it was AWESOME. She is 7, by the way. She LOVED the sauce. It was an overall hit and I just need to learn to cook the chops so they won't be dry. It's an awesome recipe!!!

Frank's Spicy Alabama Onion Beer Chili

I stumbled across this recipe while searching for a different chili recipe. Since I am living in AL, I decided to try it. I cut back on the spicyness because I have a 6 yr old. However, the things I did differently were: I cooked the beef with the onions to make the onions less noticable in the chili, and I cut back on the heat. I used one small can of fire roasted chilis and the 1/3 cup of chili powder, and 1 TSP of the red pepper flakes. It was perfect for my child. And it also tasted really good. This is a recipe that is very adaptable and very tasty! Excellent!!

This was really good and something different. I did not ad tomatoes because I wanted to roll it in tortillas, and I didn't have almonds or raisins. Next time I'll add them and see if there's a difference. Very good!

Salmon Chowder

This was REALLY good! My 6 yr old daughter ate it up and said she really liked it. I put too much salmon in it (my fault) so next time I will cut back. I did add smoke flavoring to the salmon also. Very good!

Taco Seasoning Mix

I tried this tonight. I think that it needs MORE spice, and my 6 yr old agreed. It was good, at first but lost flavor, which I thought was really weird. I will keep this and adjust it.

Chicken Crunch

I am giving this a 5 star in spite of the fact that I made changes, simply because it is an EXCELLENT base, and also what I have been searching for as far as a recipe that I had eaten at a local restaurant. I personally cooked the chicken pieces in onion and garlic. I poured the chicken/onion/garlic into two cans of condensed cream of chicken soups and 1/2 C white wine.I added shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream. I then added cheese on top and mixed the cracker crumbs with butter and put them on top of the cheese. My daughter loved it. Very, very flavorful meal!!! Thanks!!!!

Easy Spicy Roasted Potatoes

The ONLY change I made to these was reduce the chili powder to 3/4 teaspoon because of my 6 yr old. BUT, had I remembetred that she is NOT a potato eater, I'd have kept it the original amount. These were EXCELLENT. I LOVED them and I will make them in the future, for SURE!!!!

Boiled Peanuts

LOL! I laughed when I saw this recipe. I am from the midwest, and when I came to the deep south, you would see people set up on the side of the road selling "boiled peanuts". Never heard of it! So I decided to try it and thought they were the most disgusting thing I had ever tasted!!! I tried them a few years later, and they had not been boiled to the point of mush. I have since LOVED making them, even introducing my sister and brother-in-law, who live in Chicago, to them. They did not go over well. But I'll keep trying!!! :)

Spaghetti Sauce II

OK, I haven't even eaten this on pasta yet but I tasted it, and it it AWESOME. The ONLY changes I made were: I used a 28 oz can of diced tomatoea (what I had) and 2 cans tomato sauce, and I scaled back on the red pepper flakes only because of my 6 yr old. This is excellent and I will make this from now on!!!! Thanks!
