Broccoli, Rice, Cheese, and Chicken Casserole

This was the best casserole that I've made in a long time! I made almost according to the recipe except for the following two things: I omitted the butter (couldn't see how it would be necessary except for adding more calories) and I used boneless chicken breast, instead of canned, that I cooked first on the Foreman. My husband couldn't get enough of this, he wants me to make it again next week. Bravo on this recipe!!

Easy Garden Green Beans

Excellent! Had the perfect blend of seasonings and the vinegar gave them an extra little kick. My whole family loved them, so I guess I will be making them again tonight with my hubby's favorite meatloaf recipe! Thanks for sharing!

Chocolate Walnut Fudge

Very very good! First attempt at making fudge, so I wasn't sure what to expect. This was so very easy to make. After chilling in the fridge for several hours, it was still soft when I cut it. Very creamy too. I put it on my cookie tray, made one batch with walnuts inside and on top, the other with crushed candy canes on top. Went over great!

Jam Filled Butter Cookies

These are awesome! The only thing I added was a tsp. of almond extract. I filled with raspberry and apricot Solo filling. YUM! I would suggest doubling the recipe because I only got 2 dozen out of the first batch, maybe mine were a little too big but that's okay because I know they are going to go over big, especially with the guys in the family who love the jam filled cookies. GREAT RECIPE!!!!!!!!!

Whipped Shortbread Cookies

These were just ok. I followed recipe exactly except for adding a tsp. of vanilla and baking for 8 minutes. I did beat them for exactly 10 minutes. The problem isn't with the taste, it is with the consistency. I couldn't even put these on my cookie tray....they literally fall apart when you pick them up. Impossible to serve. Thanks anyway.

Warm Steak and Potato Salad

When I told my husband that I was making this for dinner he rolled his eyes in disgust. Boy was he wrong! We both loved it...so full of flavor. I am going to make it again next week for company. Frank, you are a genius!!!!!

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Awesome! This was the easiest recipe, not time consuming at all to make these. The dough was light and fluffy, hard to keep my daughters' fingers out of it! When the chocolate started to melt a little bit, I put a small amount of holly berry on top of each cookie to make them more festive looking. I just got done making another batch, the first one went over so well at my first party. I will continue to make these for years to come! Thanks!

Pumpkin Spice Cookie

Wow, I couldn't believe how good these were. So moist and full of flavor. Only changes I made was adding a few dashes of pumpkin pie spice and frosting them while they were still a little warm with cream cheese frosting. Even my picky 13-year-old gobbled these up! So did my hubby....will be making again real soon!

Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

This was very very good. I didn't find it too salty at all, like some other reviews stated. I used cream of mushroom instead of chicken (can't quite understand the concept of using chicken soup with a beef recipe) and I used a packet of dry beef gravy instead of the au ju because that is what I had on hand. Also sliced an onion and placed on top of the steaks. Turned out yummy! Thanks for the great recipe!

Basic Yankee Bread Stuffing

Reuben Dip

Went over well at my party. I thought it was a little bland, but everyone else loved it. Will probably make again, will not rinse the saurkraut next time. I think that rinsed a lot of flavor away.

Chocolate Cherry Cake III

Out of this world! My family went crazy over this cake.....I loved it too and I am not a huge chocolate "nut". The only thing I did different was add a teaspoon of almond extract to the icing recipe. This one is a keeper for sure!

Peanut Treats

YUMMY! I made for my Christmas Cookie tray and they were devoured in no time. Even made a second batch before the holiday came, except the 2nd time I chose to mix all ingredients together and then set....was much easier and still tasted great if not better.
