Soft Oatmeal Cookies

Yumilicious. I used 1 stick of butter instead of 1 cup. Also 1/2 cup of white sugar instead of 1 cup. They turned out perfect. No need for all the extra calories! This one's a keeper! This is a good base recipe that allows you to add whatever you want. I did one batch with dark choc. chips, another batch with white choc. chips, dried cranberries, coconut and crushed pecans, another batch with raisins, and the final batch with butterscotch chips and crushed pecans. Fantastic gourmet cookies. Thanks for the recipe.

Beef Enchiladas II

This was good. I didn't use as much cheese on the top because it wasn't necessary. You can modify to your own taste. I also used corn tortillas and the flour tortillas were tastier. Very simple and fast so we will make this one again. Thanks!

Joey's Peanut Butter Cookies

My first time to try this recipe. I made this recipe exactly as called for except I used margarine instead of 100% butter (I ran out). The texture turned out fine and they taste like... SURPRISE! peanut butter cookies. I can say these weren't my favorite cookies in the whole world. My kids like them and that's what counts, right?

Grandma VanDoren's White Bread

Yumilicious! For the 3 parts, I used one as a bread loaf, another for cinnamon rolls, and I'm saving the last for pizza dough! So far, the bread is great and the cinnamon rolls look irresistable! WOOHOO!

Sam's Famous Carrot Cake

Yummilicious. This was mm good. I'm not kidding. I had to give part of it away so I wouldn't eat it all. Anyone out there counting calories? I used a cream cheese recipe from this site and let me tell you, homemade beats store made any day. This receives 5 stars for good reason. Because it was perfect.

Salisbury Steak

Husband loved it and was still talking about it the next day. I would turn the heat down to low-medium or medium as the beef burned a little on the bottom. I really enjoyed it myself so I say 5 stars and definitely a keeper. Thanks.

Chicken Enchilada Casserole II

Thank you for this recipe. We tried it out tonight and thought it was great. We are health-conscious and used light sour cream, healthy request cream of chicken soup, and this was great. It's like we didn't use healthy substitutes as it was scrumptious. We used flour tortillas and regular shredded cheddar cheese which we will substitute with fat-free next time (I don't think it's ever the same if you use fat-free cheese!). I would also cook the onions a few minutes before we put it in the mix. Husband would omit beans (and he's a bean lover). I asked why and he said he didn't think the texture fit in it. He also added a can of green chiles. Okay, thanks again! We're keeping it. Asianmama

Baked Pork Chops I

Super recipe! I almost had all of the ingredients so I had to improvise. I used shake n bake instead of the flour, eggs, and bread crumbs. No white wine in the sauce. The frying sealed in the juices (neat trick!) and the pork chops were falling off of the bones (the best way to be)! Rave reviews from the husband who just flew in from a business trip to Canada! White linens and candle light... Thank you!

Ali's Amazing Bruschetta

This was a great recipe with the classic bruschetta taste. I will make it next time cutting the bread 1/2 inch instead of 1 inch which was hard to eat keeping the mix on top (how big is your mouth?). Definitely a keeper with the classic taste! Yum!

Favorite Green Bean Casserole

This was an easy recipe which is great for beginners or a quick fix. My mother in law's recipe is much better than this so unfortunately, I am comparing this to something I've already had. Maybe needs butter? Husband and kids say a three also. Thanks.
