About this Cook
I am 23 and the mother of two hilarious little girls that keep me hoppin'. One 4 yrs. old and the other 18 mo. I have a wonderful husband that has filled the position of taste tester and my 4 yr old is my little chef. Without her I don't think things would taste quite as sweet. We are addicted to cooking.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook everything but my favorite would be any kind of main dish and my least favorite would probably be baking. Some days I just want to stay home and cook all day and then I have days were I don't want to cook at all:)
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family loves to eat.We have lots of cookouts during the summer and I love having pot lucks.
My cooking triumphs
My proudest culinary confections would have to be my daughters birthday cakes. I just have so much fun doing all the really fun, messy decorating and they have all been met with rave reviews by friends and family.
My cooking tragedies
Would be trying to make chocolate chip cookies from the recipe on a bag of nestle toll house chocolate chips. I think I put in to much butter and they ran all oveer the pan!

Sea Foam Frosting
I liked this, however I used it for a different purpose than to frost a cake. I used it to top the strawberries in a strawberry shortcake. I thought it worked out very well on this type of dessert. Thnx

Roasted Red Pepper and Potato Soup
I really enjoyed this recipe and I am not a big potato soup fan. I made it with grilled ham and cheeses and my family loved it. My picky four year old even told me that I made a really great dinner tonight. ya! score! I used 2% milk instead of the half and half, celery flakes instead of the celery, I also omitted the butter and used olive oil to saute the veggies. Delish! Thank you for a great recipe.
