I had a hard time rating this one, because I WANTED to like it so much more than I did. I gave it 4 stars because the consistency is awesome...exactly what I look for in a good bread pudding. The flavor was really lacking, however. I even used cinnamon-raisin swirl bread and it was still pretty blah. I think that adding cinnamon to the apples and/or the cream cheese mixture would probably do wonders. I would probably also recommend some more vanilla extract or even possibly some maple extract. I think the recipe has a lot of potential (and I think I will try it again with those modifications), but didn't care for it a whole lot when I made it exactly as written. Don't count it out though...it has the makings to be incredibly yummy!

Super easy and turned out great! I had to add a tad more milk, but other than that did everything as written. Also, this is great with other extracts (vanilla, maple, peppermint, etc.). Thanks for the great recipe!

This was a wonderful recipe! I mashed up the asparagus a bit to really get the flavor in there, and added some crumbles of Garlic and Herb Feta cheese before serving. Thanks for the recipe!
