Though I claim to hate making candy, I secretly love making candy. I also love baking in general. My favorite entree to cook is lasagna. Yum! Baking bundt cakes. I've helped my mom bake since I was five. =D Truffles. Definitely the truffles. It was my first time making candy and they turned out so beautifully. My friends were all really impressed and that's when I realized that I might want to think about opening up a pastry shop later on in my life. The first time I baked cookies from scratch was a DISASTER. I left the cookies in for the suggested amount of time, but I put 2 cookie sheets on one rack, causing the cookie sheets to not have enough air circulation. Therefore, after 8 minutes, all my cookies ended up pretty burnt. After that fiasco though, my cookies have always turned out beautifully.
