I'm 17 years old and I live every exciting moment I can. I'm co-captain of my high school Flag Team. I've been cooking for a couple of years, but I've become more interested in it the last couple of months since my mom started working out of state. I'm now in charge of my family during the week so I love satisfying their bellies! By the way I'm the one on the right in that picture. I LOVE CHICKEN! If there were to be a massive plague of chicken I think I would die of starvation because that is pretty much all I eat. The only time that I really eat beef is when I cook Mexican or when my mom is home because that is her favorite. I think my favorite dish is a brown chicken recipe my brother taught me. I've cooked that since I was about 13. I like to cook with my brother because he was in the process of entering culinary school when our family hit a snag in money. We try to sneak our way into the kitchen, but we're usually caught by the huge mess that is left behind. There is no special occasion with my brother and me. We do it all the time. I've successfully prepared dinner for my family without killing them since my mom has been gone. I learned the hard way about pouring oil into a very, very hot pan. Although the pan caught on fire I was able to save my food, hair, and house!
