Black Bottom Cupcakes II

These were delicious! I added extra cocoa powder to make them nice and dark. I also ran out of enough cream cheese mixture for all of them and had to make about 1.5 times as much as the recipe calls for.

So easy! I took a hint from another reviewer and just used a white cake mix and then added the milks. I've tried other recipes but this is by far the best!

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

There were so many inconsistencies with this recipe. First, holy unhealthy batman! These were grocery store sweet, so I would use Splenda or cut back next time. I only used about 2 cups oats because they got too thick to work with and that made them spread out more on the pan. I added raisins and ground cloves as well. I might try adding white chocolate next time. Lastly, I made 52 cookies, NOT 24!

Flourless Chocolate Cake II

Not what I expect at all! I followed the recipe to the letter, except I don't have a double broiler so I melted the chocolate in a copper pot on low heat stirring constantly. The consistency was too oily and falling apart like pudding more than cake. I wanted a really dense heavy recipe and this did not turn out well at all. The taste was delicious, that was about it. I'd use less butter next time or try a different recipe.

Tie-Dyed Mini Cupcakes

I made these regular size and baked them for about 20-22 minutes instead. I threw in some chocolate chips which was smart because these don't have much flavor. They came out a little heavy- more like muffins so next time I won't use as much shortening. Pretty basic. Made about 20 small regular size cupcakes. Oh and I used a chocolate ganache instead for halloween and decorated with candy corn.

Red Velvet Cake

I really didn't like it; I think it had too much baking powder and wasn't nearly what I had hoped for. It's moist but maybe I just don't like red velvet cakes.

I actually only used half a can of pink lemonade and just the fruit, with one more orange in it. Turned out very very sweet and citrus-y and kept for days.

No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars

THESE ARE AMAZING!!!! The only reason for 4 stars is that they are quite greasy with all that butter so i halved the butter and added milk instead- turned out a lot better and still clumped perfectly. There's also really no need to grease the pan either. Great taste, gotta make these for all those cookie moments!

German Chocolate Cake III

I loved this cake! I did the half brown/half white sugar mix and i added some Bacardi rum and plain lowfat yogurt to keep it moist longer. couldn't have turned out better!
