Pot lucks and pushiness have given me some great recipes that I have refined and made my own pumkin muffins, almond rocca, green onion cakes, and anything chocolate christmas baking -- monster cookies finding and adapting pumkin muffins Almost blowing up the house when I was 10 and making a chocolate cake from scratch. I read 1 cup of vinegar (instead of the 1tsp it should have been) and didn't read the bottle before I poured it's content into the batter. Only my Younger brother figured that it was amonia that I had substituted, so the batter ended up in the garbage instead of the oven. close call.
